Bought with the money he saved from his paper route, Jason began photographing the beauty that surrounded him in his hometown of Westlake Village California. In high school he began to take interest in the beautiful Italian designers that he saw in fashion magazines such as Vogue, Italian Vogue, and W magazine. Being 100% Italian it was love at first sight.
He then began to assist celebrity photographer Jerry Avenaim. It was during that period, Jason honed his technical skills in photography. What resonated with Jason the most in the experience, was how he learned to direct and communicate with his subjects.
